 SMC(School Management Committee) members of A.P government Schools training programme has been conducted every year.Now SMC MEMBERS TRAININGS PROGRAMME 2014-15 will be conducted in December,2014.The programme details are below.

Strategies/ Approach of the programme:

Special Guidelines:
  1. Prepare a banner for commencing training programme at District/Division,Mandal and School level.
  2. Prepare invitation cards to Public Representatives, Parents, Philanthropists',NGOs who are working for Education and also for well-wishers of Schools to invite them to trainings (Invitation cards might prepared by children with low cost, no cost material).
  3. Plan pre activities for participants before the commencement of Training programmes at Mandal and School level. The activities Such as MUGGULA POTILU, MUSICAL CHIAR, ANTHAKSHARI, Competitions in preparation of invitation cards identity cards etc.
  4. Honour the winners with I and II Prizes with not exceeding Rs.200 for I prize and Rs.100 for II prize.
  5. In school level trainings invite by personal contacts to Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch, any other public representative available in the habitation, all SMC members and parents who are interesting to attend the programme.
Guidelines for conduct of SMCs training programmes at District level:
  1. No of days : 02 Type : Non residential
  2. No of resource persons : 06 ( who were trained at State level)
  3. No of spells : 03
  4. No of batches per spell : 03
  5. No of participants : 06 members per Mandal MRGs/RPs : 04;Gazetted HMs: 02 (No of participants per batch limited for 50 only)
  6. Two day District level training programme should be conducted in three spells at three identified training centres preferably at divisional head quarters
  7. The DPO will identify three training centres at three divisional head quarters with good training facilities such as seating, ventilation and toilets.The MEOs concerned should be kept as course coordinators.
  8. Each spell should include three batches.
  9. The DPO will give clear communication regarding the dates and venues of the training programme through announcement in news papers and communicating the proceedings well in advance to all participants.
  10. A planning meeting will be conducted with the key resource persons and course coordinators to discuss and plan the training programme and for the allotment of resource persons to the training centres @ 2 RPs per training centre.
  11. Six member team from each Mandal should be involved in the programme who are experienced, interested, and having good communication skills,which include four MRGs/ RPs and two gazetted HMs
  12. 48 MRGs/ RPs (6 members from each Mandal from 8 Mandals 6X8 = 48) should be allotted to each training centre per spell. The total no. of participants should not exceed this number at any cost.
  13. The District level training programme should commence from 9.30 AM sharp up to 5.00 PM every day. The DPO should give clear instructions in this regard. Late attendance should be prevented.
  14. All the sectoral officers of DPO should monitor the programme at various levels i.e, District, Mandal and school levels. A detailed schedule regarding the allotment of Mandals to each sectoral officer should be prepared and submitted to the SPO.

Guide lines for the conduct of SMCs training programme at Mandal level:
  1. No of ciays : 01                            Type : Non residential
  2. No of resource persons : 06 ( who were trained at District level)
  3. No of spells : 02 or 03
  4. No of batches per spell : 02
  5. No of participants : 04 members per school(Sarpanch, SMC chairperson,
    HM/senior teacher and SMC vice chairperson)
  6. One day Mandal level training programme should be conducted in two or three spells at two identified training centres at Mandal head quarters
  7. The Mandal educational officer concerned and one senior HM of school complex at Mandal head quarters should act as course coordinators.
  8. A detailed plan of action should be prepared regarding the allotment of schools to each training centre and the dates of the conduct of the programme.
  9. The training programme should be conducted as one day programme in two/three spells covering all schools in the Mandal.
  10. Each spell should contain two batches.
  11. 10 schools should be allotted to each training centre as one batch. The team from each school should contain sarpanch, SMC chairperson, HM/senior teacher and SMC vice chairperson. In case of more than one school in a village the sarpanch should attend the programme in any one of the spell.
  12. In case of single teacher schools the MEOs concerned should make necessary arrangements to enable the teacher to attend the training programme utilizing the services of the CRPs in their places on the day of the training only.
  13. The Mandal level training programme should be conducted from 9.00AM up to 5.00 PM
  14. A photo document covering key moments of the programme should be prepared and submitted to the DPO

  5. No of participants : All SMC members of the school concerned
  6. One day school level training programme should be conducted at every school in one spell.
  7. The team comprising of sarpanch, SMC chairperson,HM/senior teacher and
    SMC vice chairperson should act as resource persons for the training of all SMC members at school level.
  8. The Head master of the school concerned is responsible for the conduct of the programme in a festive atmosphere.
  9. The Head master of the school concerned is responsible for inviting all SMC members personally to the programme by way of giving invitation cards.He/she is also responsible for taking up certain activities such as school decoration, TLM display etc., on the day of the programme
  10. The Head master of the school concerned should arrange a delicious working lunch with the help of the MDM agencies to all participants utilizing the grants allotted for this purpose.
  11. The school level training programme should be conducted from 9.00AM up to 5.00 PM
  12. A photo document capturing key moments of the programme should be prepared and submitted to the DPO
