GANITOTSAVAM Celebrations in all schools - Quiz Competitions on Mathematics Day 22nd December:
SCERT, AP, Amaravati-Organization of GANITOTSAVAM, (Mathematics Day) Celebrations-Quiz Competitions -Instructions-Issued -Reg. Academic Calendar Activities-2018-19.

1. All he District Educational Officers in the State are hereby informed that it is planned to conduct GANITOTSAVAM-2018 (Mathematics Day as per the academic calendar) on 22nd December, 2018. 
2. In this connection Department of School Education has decided to conduct occasion of the birthday of Indian Mathematician Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan as a festive mode to promoting Logical Thinking, Reasoning, Creativity and Joyful learning of Mathematics among children. 
3. Accordingly it is decided to conduct quiz competition for Students studying from VIII to X classes in Govt., ZP, Aided, Municipal Schools and AP Model Schools, APRS. KGBv's, APSWRS, should be conducted at Mandal, Division and District level.
4. Therefore all the District Educational Officers are informed to communicate guidelines to organize GANITOTSAVAM-2018 (Mathematics Day) on 22.12.2018 on the occasion of the birthday of Indian Mathematician Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan in all schools. 
5. Further, the District Educational Officers are requested issue instructions to Deputy Educational Officers and Mandal Educational Officers, to conduct the Quiz Competition in Mathematics at Mandal, Divisional and District level as per the schedule. 
6. The first prize winners team of four (4) students with one Escort Teacher at District Level will be send to participate at State Level Quiz Competitions and paper presentation (as per anexure) to be held on 22 " December -2018 from 10.00a.m. to 5.00p.m at SCERT, A.P. Amaravati.
